Clean My Vanity with Me- Dollar Store Hacks!

Yup. I’m pretty minimalist when it comes to makeup. I have two eyeshadow pallets and I only keep what I use. BUT, here are my favorite tips and tricks to clean and organize my space to have my vanity be an oasis in our bedroom! Speed clean with me! Organize my makeup with me, clean organizing containers (yup, even the fabric ones), and clean your brushes fast. Using all Dollar Tree and Dollar Store products. I LOVE budget organization and natural cleaning!

My vanity: World Market (Also at Bed Bath and Beyond), Usually around $130 or less if you can catch a sale!

My cleaning cloths (use only water, last for years!)

DIY Wood Cleaner: 
1 3/4 cup water
1/4 cup white vinegar
2 tsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp. essential oil (I like lemon)
Mix into a spray bottle. Last 8-12 months.

Let’s get organized! For me, there is nothing better than a good before and after. I went to my friend Shawna’s house, and she was so excited to have me help organize her linen/medicine closet! She was so gracious to let me film the before and after. I LOVE purging and simplifying projects, so this was especially fun. Minimalism is trendy, but this space was all about finding and using exactly what you need. Purging with purpose. Hey Do It On A Dimers! In this shopping vlog, come shop with me at Dollar Tree! If you want to find the best new fall finds (before everything sells out for 2017) you’ve got to go EARLY. Probably when you are still wearing your summer clothes. In this store tour, come with Carson and I, and we’ll show you fall flowers, signs, pumpkins, ribbon, Halloween decor, new candles, quick tips, and two easy Farmhouse decor DIYs. I decorated two spaces in my home at the end of this vlog. I’m totally jumping on the Magnolia, Fixer Upper, Chip and Joanna bandwagon. Like the rest of the world. And I’m SURE I’m not doing it “right” I’m just doing what I love and telling our story. I love the rustic bucket I created with some simple chalk paint and a Dollar Tree organizing bin. $1 Dollar Store Hacks: Laundry & Kitchen Organization

It’s another Dollar Tree Hacks video! I’ll share my current favorite hacks for organizing the kitchen and how to get your kids to help you with your laundry routine and folding clothes. These Dollar Tree tips and DIYs have both been true lifesavers in our house.

First up is a DIY folding board. These are great and can be used with shirts, pants, towels and more. Normally they retail for $15-24, but you can make it for $6 at the Dollar Store. I know some people use cardboard to do this, but the clothes don’t have the same crisp fold, and it doesn’t last a long time (bends very easily), and the clothes stick to the sides. That’s why I love this hack so much!

I’ll also show how to make DIY fridge liners to catch spills and drips. If you try nothing else in this video, please try this tip– it has truly changed our fridge (and no I’m not using placemats!). It makes it so easy to clean, and they don’t slide around at all.

Dollar Tree Shopping Vlog with LoveMeg

Come shop with me at Dollar Tree! All new finds for 2017! This Dollar Tree is HUGE (it’s the biggest in my city). Today was the perfect day out with Meg from LoveMeg! She came to visit and we had a girls’ shopping afternoon. In this vlog, we found organization items, FULLY stocked shelves, food, home and kitchen decor, bins, baskets, lazy susan turn tables (these normally retail for $5!), and so much more!

Dollar Tree Dr. Seuss Birthday Ideas!

Dollar Tree Birthday Party Ideas! If you saw my haul and shop with me video, you know I have been planning a joint birthday for the boys with Dollar Tree items. Carson’s 4th and Owen’s 1st Birthday! The theme was Dr. Seuss/Cat in the Hat/One Fish Two Fish Turning Four Fish (Carson thought that one up all on his own). Here’s how I created some simple DIYs to make the party special and did it all on a budget! I also share some simple ways we stayed organized.
