Hey guys! Today is a Q&A video! I cover wanting more kids, if I miss teaching, my favorite YouTube channel, Charlie’s health update (since y’all were asking), handling grief and anxiety over the holiday, and we speak some Spanish. And a few other things, too. I usually make these once a year or so. Merry Christmas! I hope you enjoy!

Christmas Casserole:
6 eggs
1 cup cheese
2 cups milk or cream
1 tsp mustard powder or ground mustard
6 slices of bread
1lb. cooked bacon
salt to taste

Whisk eggs. Add mustard powder and salt and combine. Stir in cheese, bacon and bread until well combined. Refrigerate covered overnight. Bake for 50 minutes- 1 hour at 350.

DECORATE FOR CHRISTMAS WITH ME 2018!

Hey, guys! In today’s video, decorate for Christmas with me! I’m sharing our Christmas bin organization, our dollar store tree, and perfect gift ideas on a budget, courtesy of ENERGY STAR. A little logo that actually does a lot of good, certified to save energy and save you money. Hope you enjoy!

CHRISTMAS TOFFEE RECIPE:
Ingredients:
-Saltine Crackers (about 1.5 sleeves, or enough to line your tray)
-1 cup packed brown sugar
-1 cup unsalted butter
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
-12 oz semi-sweet chocolate

Directions:
-Line a 10×15 inch pan with foil or a liner
-Line crackers to cover the pan, so they are touching but not overlapping
-Melt butter and brown sugar on the stove and combine until it begins to thicken and bubble (stirring frequently)
-Pour over crackers and spread to coat evenly
-Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes until bubbling and remove from the oven
-Melt bag of chocolate in 30-second intervals in the microwave
-Pour over top and using a CLEAN spatula, spread to coat evenly
-Freeze overnight
-Break into pieces
-Store in an airtight container in the fridge and enjoy for up to 1 week!

Hey, guys! In today’s video I’m sharing FIVE tips that we use to keep our morning running organized smoothly with two young kids. Carson is 5 and going back to school and Owen is 2 and attends a mommy’s morning out preschool! It isn’t perfect. Far from it, but here are some easy ways we stay organized. From cleaning, to motivation, to simple strategies to stay organized, here is our simple back to school morning routine. I hope you enjoy!

The BEST oatmeal breakfast bars:
1/2 cup pure maple syrup (you can also use organic, local honey)
1 cup natural peanut butter
2 cups rolled oats

Combine peanut butter and syrup over low heat. Stir until smooth and combined. Add oats. Mix until well combined and transfer to an 8×8 cake pan lined with wax paper. Set in fridge to harden and cool. Cut into bars, eat and enjoy!

Hey, guys! In this meal planning video, I share EASY bulk breakfast ideas from bulk pancakes/waffle mix to DIY creamy instant oatmeal in your Keurig. It’s meal planning made easy…’cause mornings are crazy!

PANCAKE/WAFFLE MIX:
10 cups all purpose flour
9.5 oz. instant dry milk
1/2 cup sugar
4 Tbsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. salt

To make:
Add 2 cups of above mixture to a bowl with 1 cup of water and 1 egg. Prepare on the skillet or in a waffle iron!

Oreo Bottom Cheesecake Cupcakes!

Today Carson and I tested out a recipe we found on Pinterest. This easy recipe is the perfect dessert for birthday parties and only takes about 10 minutes of prep. I hope you enjoy! Tag us on social if you give them a try!

INGREDIENTS:
Original Pinterest Recipe from The Stay At Home Chef
12 Double Stuff Oreos
8 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
1/4 cup sour cream
small pinch salt
1/4 cup hot fudge sauce (it’s best to use the kind that you have to microwave to make runny)
Best (budget) Muffin Tin
Bulk (budget) Cupcake Liners

Bake at 275 until set (about 20-22 minutes). Let cool completely before eating. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Dollar Tree DIY Bath Bombs!

Hey guys! In this episode of Cooking with Carson we are showing you how to make DIY Dollar Tree Bath Bombs! These are similar to the expensive bath bombs you can find at Lush and the more reasonably priced ones you can buy online from amorbathbombs.com, but Carson makes them for a fraction of the price using Dollar Tree supplies. How fun is this DIY for Halloween? We had so much fun making these. I think these would make great Christmas gifts, too. (Each bath bomb is less than $1!)

Lush Dupe Bath Bomb Recipe
Dollar Tree Molds and/or Dollar Tree Clear Christmas Ornaments
1/2 cup Dollar Tree Epsom Salt
1 cup Baking Soda
*1/2 cup Citric Acid (you can find at Walmart in the Ball canning section or here)
2-3 tsp. olive oil
1 tsp. water
Dollar Tree food coloring
15 drops essential oil (optional, especially if you have scented Epsom salt)

Mix dry ingredients until well incorporated. Mix wet ingredients and SLOWLY add to dry ingredients. Press firmly and compactly into molds and let dry overnight.

*Note: If you don’t have Citric Acid or want this to be a 100% Dollar Tree DIY, you can add 1/4 cup cream of tartar and 1/2 cup cornstarch in place of the citric acid. However, these will NOT have the same bath bomb fizz!
