How to start & GROW on YouTube!
Hey, guys! I get this question all the time. How do I start a YouTube channel? How do I grow my brand? How do I grow fast on YouTube in 2019? This market is so saturated. I don’t believe that’s an excuse. It took me seven years to grow this community to over 1 million people. I think anyone can do this. I’ve wanted to make this video for so long. I know it’s a bit different, but I hope you enjoy whatever your video side-hustle is! Edit: I made a mistake in this. 500,000 subbies in the first six years, 500 thousand in the last year! Oops!

Target Shop With Me!
Hey, guys! In this shop with me video we head to Target. First, I hit up Bullseye’s playground (it’s like the Dollar Tree of Target!) where everything is priced between $1 and $5. The farmhouse decor is SO GORGEOUS right, and I couldn’t resist a couple spontaneous purchases. Target has a ton of back to school and pre-k items out, so this was the perfect shopping vlog to share them. Lots of supplies for teachers and homeschooling moms. So many NEW FINDS for Fall 2017!

We aren’t aiming for perfect
Come hang out with us on this hot July day! Just real life. Real messes. Snotty little ones. …and our house isn’t that clean to be honest. And we are surviving nights of little sleep and this beautiful season with our kids. I haven’t vlogged in so long and I don’t want to let these little imperfect and precious memories slip by without capturing them. Today we get a visit from our friend in the fairy garden, head to a 12 month doctor appointment for an Owen update, I show you my planner, Carson has a little heart to heart with the camera, and I give you a garden tour. The perfect summer night!
Our window cleaning cloth and cleaning pack I use.
Our fairy door kit (I got mine for 90% off at the craft store! They are awesome.)

Three Ingredient Unicorn and Galaxy Cookies (Cooking With Carson)
In this episode of Cooking With Carson we show you how to make Meringue Cookies that look like beautiful galaxies and unicorn poop! ? Kids get SO excited about this sweet recipe and it couldn’t be easier! It’s just three ingredients! Galaxy DIYs and cute Pinterest unicorns have been catching our eyes lately, and Carson has been begging to make this one.
My friend Windi made Carson’s Apron for his birthday. So cute, right? You can see her store here!
INGREDIENTS AND SUPPLIES:
- 4 Egg whites (use large eggs)
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Cream of Tartar (optional, but helps the eggs/sugar mixture reach max fullness)
- Vanilla Extract (optional for flavoring)
- Gel Food Coloring (Use gel for the brightest color, this is the kit I used to achieve galaxy colors)
- If you haven’t tried gel coloring yet, and only want to spend a couple bucks, this is a GREAT starter kit
- Piping Kit (they also sell them at Dollar Tree!)
How to make PERFECT Meringue Cookies (tips and tricks we learned):
- Use a perfectly clean bowl (I wiped mine down with vinegar before mixing). If any oil or grease is in the bowl the eggs and sugar won’t set.
- Use room temperature eggs. This is very important. Let sit out for at least an hour before using.
- Start mixing slowly and then slowly speed up mixing
- Add sugar when eggs make stiff peaks.
- It takes longer than you think. About 5 solid minutes of mixing.
- Add sugar SLOWLY 1 Tablespoon at a time.
- Do not over mix. If mixture starts to separate or become chunky, you’ve mixed too much.
