I use my Cricut tools every time I use my Cricut machine. They make successful transfer so much easier! I use the scraper to firmly secure my vinyl to transfer tape and the weeding tool to carefully remove all of the small pieces of vinyl from the inside of letters when making labels. These tools make my DIY projects a breeze!
There are so many materials available for every machine and project type. From removable vinyl and infusible ink to iron-on and paper, they offer all you could want and more!
After you cut out your vinyl with your Cricut machine, you will weed after your label until only what you want to transfer is left. Then, you will peel your transfer tape and line it up over your label. Use your scraper tool to secure your tape to your label before carefully peeling back and attaching to your project.
When using iron-on material on towels, shirts, and other fabrics, I use a Cricut heat press to seal the design and keep it from peeling. This is the smallest heat press they offer out of a range of heat press products.
A Cricut mat is an important accessory that helps keep your material in place while your machine is busy cutting your design. Some materials from Cricut can be used without a mat, but a mat would still be needed for these materials if your piece is too small to feed into the machine.
When I take my Cricut to an organizing project at a friend’s house, I always transport it using my Cricut carrying case. It’s the perfect size for my Cricut Joy machine and has both a shoulder strap and a handle.
