Hey, guys! Today’s video is a kitchen renovation on a budget. Using chalk paint, here is a really easy way to update your island and your tile!! I explain how to paint chalk tile the BEST way and do it all on a budget. For just $150, this space looks amazing (and it was all done in 2 afternoons!)
SUPPLIES (no links here, your best bet is your hardware store!):
120 Grit Sandpaper & Sander
Kitchen Degreaser
Epoxy Seal Concrete and Garage Floor Paint (white)
Annie Sloan Chalk paint (2-quart cans did the whole kitchen & island, “original” for the same color we used)
Annie Sloan Laquer Finish (on tile)
Polycrylic Finish on Island

Do you know if this can be done on bathroom tile? (would there be concern about amount of water exposure?)
This only works on certain types of tile. I would recommend looking into some other options that may be more moisture friendly.
