This video breaks it down with my friend Jess on exactly how to make them fast. They are the perfect gift idea. Tie with Dollar Tree ribbon, tags, and a cute ornament and you can’t go wrong. Stay cozy and I hope you enjoy!
If you’re looking for another blanket gift idea, you could get a custom photo blanket ordered with photos of your choosing printed onto it. You could upload family photos, photos of pets, anything you desire!

Can you suggest a brand of yarn to use for this project ? I am new to crochet and want to make sure I get the correct supplies. Thank you !!! Can’t wait to get started on this project !
Bernat is the brand she used!
What did I do wrong? My blanket really Flair’s out as I add more length. Did I make the first two rows too tight?
I would say you probably didn’t keep it as tight as you went along. I would be watching to make sure each row was as tight as the row before it to try to help this in the future. Best of luck! 🙂
What coupons are you referring to with this? Was there a link I missed?
No link was included. Many craft stores have coupons all of the time that are available on their websites. Just search the craft store that is nearest you and see if they have one of these coupons available.
Hello! How do you connect new colors/yarn? Are you simply just tying a knot and cutting the loose ends? I love the multi-colored blue blanket you created!
You’ll find your answer at minute 2:50! 🙂
How many rows do you end up with? And how big is the finished project?
You can add as many rows as you prefer! It’s easy to customize the size. 🙂
Understand. Thank you for the very easy tutorial. I wasn’t going to make blankets for Christmas presents until I found your video. Can’t wait to look around the rest of your site.
So glad you found my videos! 🙂
How many ounces were in your skeins?
What was the color scheme/pattern for the other blanket in the video?
thanks!!
I just made a blanket following your video and it turned out great- except that my very first row (the chain) ended up becoming loose. Now it’s looser than the rest of the blanket. Is there a way to tighten it?
