Love, love, love! That’s all I’ve got for you and your ideas! Have a blessed Day Kathryn!
Hi, Kathryn, it’s been interesting watching your vlog evolve as your family grows. I was wondering when you’d realize that those chalk labels don’t last. I don’t even have kids and they’re smudged before I stick them on things. And I notice these days you use Clorox wipes? What happened to the DIY cleaner (which I’m enjoying making)? Anyway I’m totally addicted to your videos. A friend got me a pie pan and mason jars for a lazy Susan for my really pathological collection of pens and markers. Thanks for hours of enjoyment and fun tips.
Kathryn,
I just tried something so ridiculously easy, doesn’t involve water! And it works on Ink-Jet printers! I adapted this from a technique that I adapted for transfer onto fabric or wood, but I didn’t have to reverse the image.
1. Place a piece of white cardstock in a sheet protector.
2. Carefully cut off the hole-punched edge of the sheet protector.
3. Set printer quality to “Normal”
4. Print on the sheet protector. The cardstock makes it go through the printer.
5. While ink is still wet, carefully place the packing tape over the image.
6. With the sheet protector on a smooth surface, put the tape on the sheet protector. Rub it so that the image adheres to the tape.
7. Remove the tape from the sheet protector. {This was the hardest part, taking the tape off. Maybe leave it a little longer (lengthwise) and fold down the width so it will come off.}
8. Place the tape on your container.
I did this for a set of very old soap and lotion pumps. They are plastic, so I didn’t really care what happened. But it was RIDICULOUSLY easy and didn’t take any water. The best part is, all you have to do is thoroughly wipe off the sheet protector and you can use it again! 😉
I love your channel! Lots of inspiration! Thank you so much for sharing!
Interesting idea! Thanks for sharing and have a blessed day!
can also use this method for “shiny” pics in magazines, etc.
great way to transfer
Me encanta la idea, también los he hecho con forro transparente. Cualquier cosita te puedo decir como yo los preparo. Dios te bendiga a tí y a tu familia. Gracias por tus videos.
