In this video I’ll share with you the biggest decluttering secrets to having a closet you love. Sometimes it isn’t about “organizing”, but taking small steps to par down what you own. And yes, even I have to do this! Here are my favorite ways to declutter and do it right, so you don’t talk yourself out of having a closet you love because it’s filled with stuff you don’t.

I love your videos. Even my husband watches them if he’s around. He says you are adorable lol (you are). Thanks for the quote about how being organized is about swimming toward an easier way of life. That’s awesome!
That’s awesome 🙂 What a kind thing to say, Joni!
I live in a very old house. My closet is a little rectangular space with sliding wooden doors. It has a shelf and a rod for hanging clothes. Do you have any ideas how to organize a small closet? I would like to declutter bu my husband is a saver of all his old junk. (I mean it is junk – things he hasn’t used in years or looked at in years) Any suggestions would be welcome. Thank you for airing your videos. I watch all of them and always learn something. You are the best ans always so happy! I love it.
Great video. ? I love purging my home of stuff. It feels so good to be free of stuff and to be able to bless another with the good stuff.?
Great tips!! Missing Carson though 🙂
Kathryn, you really amazed me. You’re video is simple but you just don’t know how many people you inspire and help with your suggestions. Thank you for sharing. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. God bless.
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch, Beth!
Thanks for this video Kathryn! Watching it does motivate me to clean out my closet. I know my husband would love to have some of that real estate back. LOL 😉 Your pointers for selling some items of value or donating to great organizations as well as donating to thrift stores is awesome. It would be a shame to see perfectly good clothing and other items going to a landfill rather than blessing someone else. Keep doing what you do – I thoroughly enjoy your videos. =)
Great job!!! Love that you are getting a blessing by blessing others. That’s what it is all about!!
Amen!
Good timely reminder, I’m going to do this as I transition my closet from warm weather items to cold weather.
One thing I used to do when we were young and all the laundry had to be done at the laundromat…I purchased a different color hanger for each family member. At the laundromat I would pre-sort all the clothing and keep all the same colored hangers together. When I got home I could just grab all the hangers of the same color to go to that person’s closet.
Where can get the shelving unit at the end of the closet? I think it would work really well in my closet. Great tips!
I believe it is by ClosetMaid! Lowes or Home Depot should have them.
