I love you. There you are making such wonderful videos for us when you are so near your due date. You look great. I hope you are feeling well. Thanks again for sharing your ideas and the free printable. You rock!! MWA
Thank you Wendy. I am indeed. That last burst of energy I think!
You are just awesome! Every time I watch your videos I always go away with some great tip to use. Thank you.
Aw, thanks so much, Mona 🙂
Great ideas! What essential oils do you use for the car? Just curious if some are better than others, thank you!
I’m not brand loyal at this point. I go based off of Amazon reviews!
What is a mommy hook?
You should not drink from water bottles that have been stored in a hot car. It has been shown that this can cause cancer.
You could definitely switch them out for stainless steel if you wanted and just change the water out every few weeks. GL!
What size plastic tote did you use?
Thank you so much for your videos it has inspired me to keep my house clean and organized! Ive been following you for sometime now and your videos are great!
That means a lot to me! Thanks so much, Aileen 🙂
What is a Mommy Hook? LOL
What’s a “mommy hook”?
It’s a giant carabiner! I have it linked above if you want to check it out 🙂
Thank you so much. One of my summer goals was to get my car organized, and I really appreciate that the this is editable! I have added anti-itch cream as me and my son are both allergic to bug bites and always carry some, and a water bowl for our dogs. Thanks again for your fantastic content – I watch all of your videos.
Aw, thank you so much! I’m glad it was helpful!
I just stumbled upon your blog by researching cheap easy laminating… Thank you! I would like to share some experience on this post… I use many of the same ideas for organizing our minivan, but have made some modifications now that my boys are 11, 8 and 5. Our roll of paper towel now lives in the glove box, our first aid kit is smaller than yours and lives in the front passenger side door (where you have your bags). I have learned how to fold and roll plastic grocery bags to fit in a plastic Lysol wipes container so they pull out smoothly (it’s amazing how many you can fit, the container fits in a cup holder). During the summer months the picnic blanket takes the place of the scrapers, I used to wrap to small kids old D-ring belts around the blanket to keep from unfolding, now I have ones with built in attached Velcro straps. There is also a small wisk (broom) in the back of the drivers seat to sweep off the seats and the floor. The only other addition I now have in the centre consol, are some paper plates (I found some square ones they are pretty flat to fit under the tissue box) and a bag of plastic cutlery. All of my changes allows me to have one small bag in the trunk, allowing room for all the stuff that goes with 3 busy boys in a multitude of activities from hockey to swimming!
Great tips! TFS! <3
thanks for sharing, I incorporated all your ideas except I replace boys bag with service dog wire basket. Brilliant. Again, thanks for sharing.
you inspire me and I am 65yo, handicapped and have a 9 lb service dog. because of this I have had to adjust accordingly. You are my goto gottahave gottado gal Friday.
Since it is just me and Cletis safety is first and foremost. So I ck w my docs and their wives have become subscribers too. Food and water is foremost as there is just me and Cletis can’t leave in car. Instead of in the car storage I have a bucket bottom drawstring top for snacks and one for water. I sew so it was an easy do. One for our snacks and one for our liquids. Snack bucket where snacks are usually stored in closet near front door, easy refill. Liquids bucket near fridge, easy refill and food zip locks frozen water in freezer to place on top as cold settles to the bottom. Both fit nicely in passenger side floor raised on a wood riser a friend built for them (no taking my eyes off the road just grab what comes to hand and enjoy). Both are lined with special temp control material so it lasts for the weekend.
I did decide to splurge and buy a medium sized med kit and wrote date of expiration on outside. I bought the command hooks and put a garbage bag front and back. Everything else was what you did including the over-the-seat storage for Cletis’ toys and my whatevers, I chose to make that also as I wanted specific sizes for optimum use. I keep a 3 wire baskets in my trunk as there is always room to add something new (my nylon rain cape, sweater and winter hoody, etc.)
My first road trip (in 8 months) was Helen, Ga., and car organization was perfect for me. I was free to go again. Thank so very much. I count you as one of ways God has blessed me.
