Come spend the afternoon with us in this casual video and learn our favorite recipe for making slime with your kiddos (see below). We head to the store and chat about great buys at Target and the Dollar Tree. And new mascara. You know, all the fun, girly things.
***Recipe for SLIME!***
1 cup white glue
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup hot water
1.5 to 2 Tablespoons Borax (found in the laundry aisle)
Food coloring (about 5 or 6 drops of green gives you the pretty turquoise color!)
Mix the water and food coloring. Pour over glue in a bowl. Stir. Add hot water and Borax. Stir and knead until it becomes slime. This will take about 10 minutes (or at least it did for us). It keeps absorbing more and more water until it is one mass!

Hi Kathryn,
Your vlogs are fun and Carson is a sweetheart. I’d love to know what your other channel is called.
My main platform for all my videos is YouTube, so I have doitonadime and doitonadimefamily on there. ALL of my content is post here, though, so if you visit my blog you see everything!
What’s your oTher channel?
My main channel is “doitonadime” on YouTube and my secondary channel is “doitonadimefamily”. I post everything on this blog, so you see all my content here. Thanks for watching and reading!
I always include vegetables on my three year old daughter’s dinner plate, along with her chicken fingers, and mash. But she NEVER eats her veg, never has. Always ends up in the bin I’m afraid. So try being realistic, when making these demands that children should be given green stuff. If it was as easy as simply putting it on their plates, then us worn out parents would have nothing to worry about!!
