Let me share my simple tips and hacks for keeping your digital life organized!  In the spirit of spring cleaning, we’ll discuss how to organize computer files, how to organize smartphones, photo organizing, and email.  I Hope you find these simple solutions motivating and helpful!

I use a Portable External Hard Drive to back up all my photos and data.

    I think it’s critically important to back up all your computer files, but I would disagree that an external hard drive is the way to do it. I had one that was automatically backing up my documents and pictures, but then it stopped working. All hard drives fail eventually and it cost me $$$ to get my files and pictures replaced by sending it to a recovery firm. Now I have Carbonite, which is a low cost (about $55 per year) and all my documents and pictures are backed up in the cloud. I don’t work for Carbonite, but I’m relieved to know that all my files are safe. If I delete files, then Carbonite deletes them, too, but after about 48 hours – in case you did that by accident. Carbonite files can be accessed from any computer, so retrieval is super easy.
    I have Dropbox on my phone and computer also, so I’ll never lose pictures from my phone. Because they are automatically transferred to my computer, they are also backed up with Carbonite.

    Trying to organize recipes…I have some in email, Pintrest and on paper. All over the place…need to clean this out…most of the recipes I haven’t tried…time to purge!

      Thanks for watching, Dotty! I don’t transcribe my videos, and I know I move quickly. With the bigger videos I do try to bullet point my tips (especially if there are a lot of them!). TFW!
