Excellent. Frugal and easy-your blog is top notch.
I am really enjoying your videos! I am 65 and have lived in a lot of different houses and I am always looking for new organizational hints. Do you have any good hints for organizing a chest freezer?
Just an idea for that I use all the time. Get a roll of clear contact paper for like $3-$4 and use that to “laminate” everything. When my kids were little I would buy the dollar tree kids writing tables (the kind that kindergartens use) and laminated blank ones then using dollar tree dry erase markers let my kids practice writing their alphabet or wrote their names or numbers ect on it and let them practice that way also. As they get even older do addition, subtraction, multiply ect and leave a blank space for the answer so they can practice them you can keep going with the idea in every place in your home. One more quick thing I did was to laminate pictures for magazines or ect and put them on their dressers so they knew where everything was and/or where to put it away. Also as a name tag with their picture on and phone number address ect place on inside of backpacks (inside only) to help them and you
Hi Kathryn, where did you get those slide out drawer/baskets you used on the pantry shelf? I looked for them on Amazon and didn’t find anything similar!
Thanks and great job!
Danielle
They sell similar things at Container Store and Costco. GL!
Loved this video! My kitchen is SMALL! I am going to try this tomorrow!
Awesome! Happy organizing, Vickie!
Came across one of your fantastic ideas featured on Blessings.com (a friend shared it on their FB page). http://www.blessings.com/article/30817809/she-buys-9-of-these-mirrors-from-the-dollar-tree-and-makes-something-youll-love-for-cheap?param4=fni-ofe-ble¶m2=ofe-ble¶m1=cl-fb Always love all of your videos – glad to see you getting the recognition you deserve. Welcome CJ! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
Hi there
I am having a hard time with my labels on the bins I buy from the dollar store. How do you get your labels to stick? Especially on the dish bins? Thanks so much
You can write on the labels and then put packing tape over them. It’s not ideal, but it does work well!
Hi Kathryn,
Unfortunately I don’t have a pantry in my place. I have an L-shaped cabinets that I use for dishes and some pantry stuff. But just don’t know what to do with cans and additional small appliances. How would you go about creating a space for one and organizing it? in other words, help!
