This past weekend Charlie and I headed to Ashville, NC from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon. It was a quick trip while my mom had Carson to celebrate our 30th birthdays. (Charlie hit the big 3-0 on the June 28th). Here is were we stayed and some excellent restaurants we wholeheartedly recommend.

Yea, Ashville! Looks like it was a fun trip. We got married near there & spent our wedding night in the cottage at the Bittersweet: http://bittersweetcottage.com. So lovely! I want to check out the Grove Park Inn.
What a cute little cottage 🙂 I love the vibe. Yes, we hope to stay in the Grove Park Inn at some point, too…definitely get a room with a view. Hugs!
What a beautiful place! We have been to The Biltmore, Thomas Wolfe House and have also walked along the grounds of the Grove Park Inn…many years ago, but I absolutely love the B&B you stayed at! With my husband’s Scottish heritage I told him all about the guy wearing a kilt that was giving you two a tour of the place….so cool! Think we are going to have to go there some day. Thanks again, Kathryn (same way I spell my given name too) for another great vlog!
Thanks, Kathryn (Kathy!) The owners were so wonderful. It you are out that way again, I highly recommend it. xo!
