This just a little heart-to-heart video about living on a budget. Y’all…living on a budget, living within your means, getting out of debt (learn about debt consolidation loans), saving for the future…it’s all becoming COOL again. I’ll just come out and say it…. it’s becoming trendy. I feel like people finally woke up to reality. Hello budget options and cheap or FREE organizing solutions. <3 But with a wealth of information about there and tons of Dollar Tree equivalents of items that were once just sold at pricey organizing stores, a new danger has arisen: sometimes these cheap, free, and cutesy options pose a danger to real organization. The organization that sticks and works. Wake-up call: it’s not about a cute bin!!! In this video I explain why, and here are the two ways I make sure that what I’m bringing into my home and the products I’m choosing to use (no matter how budget friendly they are), are going to work TOWARD me becoming more organized. A better home and a better me. Cheers!
Thanks for this timely video … recently had to adopt a “use what I have on hand “mindset
while doing major purge and organization projects. Certainly, I have a wish list to replace some bins and containers for optimal function, access, and matchy-matchy pretty. However, my organizing does not need to wait for a special bin: I just think , “What would Kathryn do?
Love this video and info. Spot on as usual – thank you!! xo
Absolutely agree with this video! Good to keep in mind this time of year too, since spring is a season when shops like to promote housewares and cleaning/organising products, and all those pretty pastel colours look so refreshing and clean after a long dark winter.
I’m feeling motivated to work on my home at the moment, so thanks for the reminder to focus on planning the system before I hit the shops!
Love all your videos. They are so helpful. I have learned so much from you about organizing. I have a question. I have a pantry with 2 shelves(where I keep my can goods, etc) and 3 pull out drawers(where I keep my pots and pans). I have no idea how to organize this. No where else to keep my pots. Can you make any suggestions? How do I send you a picture of my pantry? HELP!! Thanks
