Many of you have been asking me to do videos on digital organizing. So, I want to start sharing computer and digital organizing tips when I feel I have a system that really works (no matter how simple it is!).
To organize my passwords, I use a The Personal Internet Address & Password Log Book
I also share my fail-proof system for remembering all your passwords and having unique passwords for each site you visit (not matter what its requirements) for heightened security.
I prefer not writing anything down and use a service like Lastpass instead. The master password is shared with my husband and I never lose track of anything! It has many amazing features such as integration with smartphones, password updates, etc. Definitely check it out!

I like having stuff written down, so instead of using a password logbook (I couldn’t find one that I liked), I use a small hand address book. It works really well for me. Thanks for the tip about the password. I am going to try that..

…and they probably have a nice little address book at the Dollar Tree! 😉 I just use a small spiral notebook and I have all my accounts and passwords -in pencil- towards the back, alphabetically. That leaves me the whole front of the notebook for tasks, goals, bills or other financials, or just daydreaming. 😀
Love the tip for remembering passwords! I will try that next time I change them for work. I’m required to change those passwords every 90 days, so that will be super helpful! 🙂
My “logbook” is a small spiral notebook that I keep in an organizer on my desk. It’s not labeled, so it hides in plain sight. I don’t alphabetize the entries–my perfectionist side would get carried away with that. Instead, I like to keep them grouped by type of website (email, blogs, shopping, financial accounts, etc.). It works with the way my brain works, which is why I like your tip so much. Thanks for the idea! 🙂
