It’s clear that lots of fun happens in the playroom. This room houses the majority of my children’s toys which means it is also the site of many messes.
Sometimes, you need to embrace the chaos and let creativity run wild. It’s ok if your playroom isn’t always magazine ready. When it’s time to tidy up, I have found organization systems that are simple for children to understand make a big difference. When they know where things go, they can help put everything in its place.
Some of our favorite playroom toys that get a lot of use are our train table, this climbing dome, and these classic cardboard bricks.
If your playroom has you feeling like you’re drowning in stuffed animals and tiny cars, it might be time to declutter. When it comes to toys, less is more. If you have more toys than can comfortably be used in your space, it’s time to either part with some items or start a rotation system so you can switch out toys every few months. You will be shocked to see how your kids’ react. It will be like you bought them all new toys!
