I have a cabinet that is the length of my counter. What I have in it now is old plastic containers. I bought the glass containers to replace the plastic. I have a hand mixer, an electric knife, large bowls and strainers, one large and one small with a handle. I normally use it for draining fruit cans. Some tall liquid plastic containers Iβm getting rid of. My thoughts are to put my pots and pans in this cabinet. I have them in my oven drawer but I want to take them out because itβs heavy to pull out the oven drawer. I want to also add the glass lids with them. Any ideas?
If you go under the tab “organize” on my website, I have ideas for every room of the house! π
I was watching your video featuring dissolvable labels from the dollar store. I can save you even more “dimes.” I take the junk mail that comes to my house and cut it apart, saving the usable blank parts of the papers and envelopes. This makes tons of free note papers of all sizes. I use a small piece of this paper to write the day and date on a note for my leftovers containers in the fridge. I just tape those notes to the container lids. No cost (other than a little inch of tape) and no trying to rinse off label residue afterwards, Cutting apart junk mail will also create an endless supply of paper for other notes and lists. It’s a great TV-watching activity, or you could let your kids do this. Just recycle anything that comes in the mail with printing on both sides of the paper. I’ve been doing this for years and haven’t bought a note pad from a store since. It’s amazing how much “free” paper gets delivered to your house every day.
Thanks for sharing that money saving (and tree saving!) hack. π The dissolving labels are easy to wash off and amazing. I love them because they save me a lot of time and effort.
