I love your pantry transformations! I have an awful kitchen. It is big but not really useful unless you want to crawl around on the floor. The tall cupboard is deep and narrow so you constantly take stuff out to get at something else. Your video’s are so calming and motivating. Your boys are adorable.

Great video, as usual. I’m a little concerned about all the expired food, and how you’ve removed some wrapped food from its original packaging so the lot numbers and expiration dates would not be visible on the contents. I guess they go through snacks before the exp. dates, but sometimes there are food recalls and you need to have the lot number from the package. Also, in my pantry, I write the month/year I purchased the item (also helpful for recalls) and the expiration date in BIG numbers on the front with a marker. This way I can see at a glance which food is the oldest, which is about to expire, and which needs to be used first. Keeping dates on things helps eliminate waste. If I have “too much” of something that will expire in a few months before I can use it, I take it to my community pantry to give away.

There are some great ideas here! I especially loved the plant rollers attached to a Dollar Tree storage bin. I live in a small town and was wondering if you’d ever compared Walmart prices on containers (like the cereal dispensers) to those at Dollar General. There are some really attractive things in the bathroom and kitchen aisles that I think might price lower there. I’d love to know your opinion. 🙂

So you have totally inspired me. My husband is now watching your videos with me. Thank you so much. Now in my pantry I use upright locker storage bins for my chocolate chip bags, powdered/brown sugar bags, nuts, and coconut. It keeps them handy and organized. Thank you again for inspiring me.

I have the can rack in my pantry and it works great. I recently found the air tight canisters at Walmart. They are AWESOME!!
