I was told by friends it’s like Kirkland’s, meets Pottery Barn, meets the PRICES of Wal-Mart. What do you think of the new design and finds? I was super excited! (They nailed the farmhouse style!)

Big Lots rocks! When my daughter (now 20) was little I got so much of her room decor there. They don’t seem to carry as much of those items anymore. However, a girlfriend of mine, who lives in a very fancy house, bought a faux leather couch there a few years back for her sunroom. When I first sat on it I said I loved the leather, so soft. Could believe it was faux leather. It was really cheap like $350.

The Big Lots not far from where I live was a great place to buy small appliances – major brand coffee makers, for instance. Then they closed for “remodeling” about a year ago and apparently are not going to reopen. I’m within easy reach of two Dollar Trees and two 99 Cent Stores, but it’s a major trek to the next nearest Big Lots. Sigh.

Wow! Thanks for the heads up! That definitely doesn’t look like the Big Lots I went into a few years ago (and never went back). I’ll have to check it out. We are in the market for patio furniture as well:)
