I’m so excited about this video! It’s a first for me: making over a teen space on a budget! I went back to my friend Hollie’s house from Baby Gizmo to help her daughter, Savannah, makeover her teen/tween closet on a dime. We were working with a very small budget to pull this off (just about $70).

I love, love, love your videos! I have a LOT of hanging clothes (3 ea. 8′ rods) in my closet and am using uniform non-slip hangers but it’s still kind of a tight fit. My shoes are in clear shoe boxes above the rods with photos on the front of each box. There’s no room anywhere to put more folded clothes so that’s out. I’ve purged just about all I can. Any ideas or do I just have too much stuff?? Thanks for any comments.
Awesome love vidso
I love the organization that you did in Savannah‘s closet. I have five children to fit in three bedrooms. There always seems to be some wasted space above the items on the top shelf of the closet. I cleared all the closets and took out the shelving and raised it only leaving to shoeboxes worth of space on the top of the closet. This allowed me to put either two hanging racks or a greater amount of space for a dresser and more storage underneath the clothing.
Hi Kathryn! I’m a huge fan of you and your videos. I watch every one of them and my kids always roll their eyes at me when I talk about Doitonadime (they’re teens of course). But I am definitely going to get my daughter to watch this one! She just tackled a complete reorganization of her room and closet after Christmas. She did most of it on her own. She purged a ton of stuff and I’m so proud of her but now she has to decide how she is going to organize everything. Hopefully this will inspire her! I’ve done so much with my house since I started watching your videos. Thanks for all the motivation and inspiration you bring!
Hola Kathryn!!
I’ve been following you for some time… You are such a blessing!! You’ve lit my organizing life! And we have many things in common… yo soy profesora de español y también tengo dos varones, además estudié y toqué piano por muchos años. Tú eres como una pequeña hermanita (on line).
Blessings to you, Laura
I would be so happy to click on the “thumbs up” button because I love all your videos, HOWEVER, I can’t find it. Could you please guide this grandmother to its location?? It’s probably hiding in plains ight – but, not for me!
I would really like to see a video on how you organize your Christmas and Holiday items when they are not in use.
That’s a great idea! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
you are very welcome, I will look forward to seeing this. 🙂
